POSITION SUMMARY

The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) is a key member of the care team responsible for supporting residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

This role assists residents with medication administration, activities of daily living, and implementation of resident care plans while ensuring accurate documentation of services provided. The CMT helps ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care while maintaining their dignity and independence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister medications according to physician orders and community protocolsAssist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and mobilityMonitor residents and report changes in condition or behaviorMaintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident careSupport implementation of individualized resident care plansPromote resident dignity, independence, and quality of lifeWork collaboratively with caregivers, nurses, and leadership to ensure quality care

QUALIFICATIONS

Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required according to Maryland state regulationsPrevious assisted living or senior care experience preferredStrong attention to detail and medication safety practicesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCompassionate approach to working with seniorsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
