Your expertise will help create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for those we serve. Responsibilities Safely administer medications following all state healthcare regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and facility protocols. Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, mobility support, and hygiene to residents with diverse needs such as dementia or memory care. Monitor vital signs and observe residents for changes in health status, promptly reporting findings to nursing staff or supervisors. Support residents with activities of daily living in assisted living or senior care environments, ensuring respectful and compassionate interaction at all times. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of medication administration, patient care activities, and incident reports in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Engage in caregiving duties that promote residents' physical comfort and emotional well-being through attentive communication and personalized support. Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Certification in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia enhances your caregiving skills. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining resident confidentiality at all times.
