This vital role involves providing exceptional personal care, medication management, and support during overnight hours in a vibrant senior living or healthcare facility. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will ensure residents' safety, comfort, and dignity while adhering to all healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Responsibilities Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with state regulations and facility policies, including oral, topical, and injectable medications as authorized Monitor residents' vital signs, physical condition, and overall well-being throughout the night shift Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, and toileting needs Provide specialized dementia care to support memory care needs with patience and understanding Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing first aid and CPR skills to stabilize residents until further medical assistance arrives Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold resident rights at all times Experience Prior assisted living or senior care experience preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in nursing homes is highly valued Hands-on experience with medication administration Basic life support (BLS) procedures such as CPR and first aid certification required Experience working with geriatric patients or those with memory impairments like dementia enhances your ability to deliver compassionate care Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving light/moderate lifting while maintaining safety protocols for both residents and staff Understanding of state healthcare regulations and senior living facility standards ensures compliance in all caregiving activities Join us to provide exceptional night-time care that promotes health, safety, and comfort for our residents.
