- 7:00 AM Position Summary Our community is looking for caring and dependable Medication Technicians to provide safe medication administration and quality resident care during evening and overnight shifts.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the shift while maintaining accurate medication and resident documentation. Evening and overnight Med Techs work closely with caregivers and leadership to monitor resident needs, communicate concerns, and maintain continuity of care. Essential Responsibilities Administer and document medications according to physician orders and community policy Ensure E-MAR documentation is accurate and complete before medication administration Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly Communicate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and leadership as needed Complete medication reorders and ensure medication cart organization and stock Maintain medication room security and proper key accountability Document incidents, behaviors, falls, and resident status updates Assist with resident care tasks and support caregivers as needed Review communication logs and shift reports for continuity of care Support a calm, safe, and respectful environment for residents overnight and during evening routines Complete additional duties assigned by leadership Qualifications Medication Aide/Med Tech certification preferred Previous assisted living or long-term care experience preferred Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills Compassionate approach to resident care Benefits Competitive shift differential opportunities Flexible scheduling Supportive leadership team Advancement opportunities Meaningful work environment Apply Today Join a team committed to providing exceptional care and creating a positive home environment for our residents.
