Job Description

Entry level Medication Technician/Caregiver 6am-230pm, 11pm - 730am, 2pm-1030pm( 3pm-1130pm) Direct Care Professional / Medication Technician Boardman Lake Glens Assisted Living - Traverse City, MI Boardman Lake Glens is seeking dependable, compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Professionals / Medication Technicians. We currently have morning, afternoon, and midnight shift opportunities available. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Our team provides personalized care and support to seniors in a comfortable assisted and independent living community. Pay:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications with oppurtunities to enclease wage based on merrit.
Responsibilities include:
Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care needs. Provide compassionate assistance while promoting resident dignity and independence. Administer medications accurately and according to established procedures. Observe residents and promptly report changes or concerns. Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergency situations. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and management. Follow resident rights, confidentiality, infection-control, and safety requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Dependable, compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with seniors. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to accurately complete required documentation. Must successfully complete required background screening. Must complete required training and demonstrate competency for assigned duties. Caregiving, assisted-living, or medication-administration experience is not required — we are willing to train the right candidate. Reliable attendance and the ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts are essential.
