Job Title:

Chef / Cook Since 1997 Boardman Lake Glens has been Traverse City's premier senior living community. We serve our 75+ residents three home cooked meals every day and we are looking for a new cook to join our food and beverage team. We offer an immediate opening in a positive, upbeat atmosphere with competitive hourly wage, paid time off, and benefits. The best candidate for this position will love cooking, exercising creativity, and interacting with our senior residents.

They must be able to:

Work 2-4 days a week (10-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays). Be self motivated and able to work independently and with a team. Be able to multi task in a fast paced environment. Exercise a variety of basic cooking skills including prep, sauté, grilling, and baking. Follow directives for individual resident dietary needs. Maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen. Serve Safe certification is preferred. Base pay is $18 + weekend/holiday shift premium.
