We're currently hiring compassionate Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our nursing team. Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Position Summary The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) provides safe, accurate medication administration while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the CMT assists residents with daily care needs, monitors resident conditions, and helps promote a safe and comfortable living environment. Responsibilities Administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and state regulations Observe residents for medication effectiveness and report changes in condition to the licensed nurse Document medication administration accurately and timely Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Monitor residents for adverse medication reactions or changes in condition Maintain accurate medication records and documentation Follow infection prevention and infection control procedures Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and healthcare team members Promote resident dignity, comfort, and independence Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized medication cart and work area Qualifications Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required Active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification, if required by state regulations Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Excellent communication and teamwork abilities We Welcome Candidates With Experience As Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Medication Technician Medication Aide Med Tech Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care Rehabilitation Assisted Living Why Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation?
