Responsibilities Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation for all administered medications. Assist with tube feeding and other specialized care as needed. Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications. Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding residents' health status and medication needs. Provide support in daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and safety of residents. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety in all caregiving practices. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Med Aide Certification is required. Previous experience in care giving or senior care is preferred. Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is beneficial. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate medication administration.
