Description Overnight Medication Technician (Med Tech) The Springs at Whitefish - Whitefish, MT Starting at $20/hr + $1 overnight shift differential The Springs at Whitefish is hiring for an overnight Medication Technician / Caregiver position in our Memory Care neighborhood. This position follows a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 2 days off. During the 4 days on, the first 2 shifts are worked as a Medication Technician and the last 2 shifts are worked as a Caregiver. What You'll Do As a Medication Technician, you'll support resident health, safety, and independence by administering medications, observing resident well-being, and providing hands-on care in a warm, hospitality-focused senior living community.
Responsibilities include:
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and community policies Assist residents with medication self-administration when appropriate Observe residents and communicate health or behavioral changes to nursing leadership Accurately document medication administration, vital signs, weights, and resident updates Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, hospice providers, and home health agencies Support residents with caregiving and activities of daily living as needed Work collaboratively with caregivers, nursing staff, and leadership to provide exceptional resident care Maintain a safe, organized, and resident-centered environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medication Technician, Medication Aide, Caregiver, CNA, Resident Assistant, Home Care Aide, DSP, or similar healthcare role preferred Experience supporting older adults in senior living, assisted living, memory care, home care, or healthcare settings preferred Medication administration experience is a plus, but not required; we provide training for qualified caregivers Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented mindset Genuine appreciation for older adults Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening Why Join The Springs Living?
