MED TECH - NIGHT SHIFT
Tara Plantation of Carthage Night ShiftJOB SUMMARY
Assures good housekeeping, supervision and personal care of the residents.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assists residents when needed for dressing, bathing, eating and bed making.
- Assures that residents are dressed appropriately when in living areas of home or outside the building.
- Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration rate and blood pressure when appropriate or as directed by physician.
- Administers and records medication and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Oversees shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and supervision of staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Performs other related duties as assigned in accordance with Minimum Standards.
EDUCATION
- Knowing and protecting Resident's privacy rights under new HIPPA rules.
- In house training provided
