Job Description

Med Technician / 3rd Shift Administers prescribed medications to patients in the facility (at capacity 30 residents), filling out paperwork, updating records, providing personal care, cleaning etc. Our Med Techs are our SICs, therefore you will be responsible for making sure the PCA on shift is keeping up with their responsibilities as well. This shift specifically is responsible for laundry and deep cleaning with less demand for personal care due to night hours. Covenant Care is looking for a high quality employee that is invested in their career an is looking for something more permanent with great staff and owners. As a family owned and operated Assisted Living we care about not only our residents but our employees as well.
Requirements:
Have a current TB skin test, and a copy of a previous one. Complete a Drug test Be in good standing with NC state regulations Have reliable transportation to work Will need to complete a criminal record check Be highly reliable and able to communicate These requirements should be completed and paperwork should be summited in a reasonable amount of time after interview and follow-up phone call. Responsibilities Administers prescribed medications to patients in a timely fashion Provide help to patients in need of assistance Help patients with ADLs such as dressing, bathing, eating, transferring etc. Clean assigned rooms and bathrooms.
