Job Description
Must hold both New Jersey Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) The Medication Technician (Med Tech) administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents and maintains related work records. The Medication Technician also acts as a Caregiver and assist residents in aspects of their daily life. As a member of the Health & Wellness team, you ensure industry-leading resident care. Education :
High School diploma or equivalentSkills :
Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable mannerYears of Experience :
Knowledge and experience in working with elderly & previous dementia experience preferredCertification :
Must hold active NJ Med Tech/Med Aide certification as well as a NJ Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.Physical Demands :
