LPN Medication Services Supervisor Hultquist Place Assisted Living Status:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule:
40 hours per week | Primarily 1st Shift (Monday-Friday) with flexibility to support other shifts as neededPay:
$23.00 - $31.84 per hour (based on experience)Position Summary :
Hultquist Place is seeking an internal candidate for a Medication Services Supervisor (LPN) role to support and oversee medication assistance services across the community. This is a great opportunity for an LPN interested in expanding their leadership responsibilities and playing a key role in the development and success of our Medication Aide program. This position works under the direction of the Director of Patient Services (RN) to ensure safe, compliant, and consistent medication practices.Qualifications :
Required:
Current New York State LPN license (active and in good standing) 2-3 years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home care Strong communication, organization, and leadership skillsPreferred:
Experience working with medication administration systems (MAR/eMAR) Prior experience supporting or guiding direct care staff Knowledge of NYS ALP/ACF and/or LHCSA regulationsKey Responsibilities :
Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and support to Medication Aides across all shifts Monitor medication passes and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Support implementation of physician orders and medication changes in collaboration with nursing leadership and pharmacy providers Identify, document, and report medication discrepancies, omissions, or errors in accordance with policy Conduct audits (MARs, med carts) and identify opportunities for improvement Provide coaching, feedback, and complete employee performance evaluations Reinforce adherence to scope of practice, facility policies, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with HHAs, PCAs, pharmacy providers, and nursing leadership Support onboarding and training of Medication Aides Assist with resolving medication-related and resident concerns and ensuring timely follow-up Provide hands-on support as needed — this is a working supervisor roleRole Impact :
