7-3, 3-11-11-7 Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Medication Aides (MAs) for skilled nursing opportunities in El Reno, OK. Responsibilities A Medication Aide picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at an skilled nursing facility may be expected to: Utilize EMR to record patients' medical information and vital signs Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations Verify resident identity and medication information prior to administration Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, or adverse reactions Report medication concerns and changes in resident conditions to licensed nursing staff Accurately document medication administration and resident observations Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in accordance with facility requirements Follow established medication administration and resident safety procedures Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active Medication Aide license Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing High School Diploma or equivalent required Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Credentials Required Active and unencumbered OK Medication Aide license Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport CPR/BLS Tuberculosis (TB) Test Flu Vaccine (during Flu season) Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted) Resume Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement About Elite Medical Staffing Elite Medical Staffing is a healthcare staffing agency connecting experienced nursing and allied healthcare professionals with flexible, high-paying opportunities.
