  • Day or Night Overview Join a well-established clinical setting as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing essential non-professional nursing care and outreach services in a correctional facility environment.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support patient well-being through direct patient care and vital communication with medical teams, all while working in a structured healthcare setting. Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene needs
  • Obtain lab specimens and document observations accurately in patient charts
  • Escort patients within the facility and help maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, ensuring proper storage and inventory
  • Participate in follow-up activities, patient tracking, and scheduling appointments
  • Provide outreach services and support case finding for at-risk populations
  • Report pertinent changes in patient condition to supervising medical staff
  • Perform delegated or specialized functions as trained and educationally prepared Required Skills
  • Ability to perform direct patient care tasks, including vital signs and specimen collection
  • Basic clerical skills and attention to detail for charting and documentation
  • Good communication skills to report observations and changes in patient status
  • Capacity to work under nursing or medical supervision within a correctional or clinical environment Additional Skills & Requirements
  • Current certification in good standing as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the Oklahoma State Department of Health is required
  • Preferred:
    certification in glucose monitoring and insulin administration
  • Experience providing patient care in healthcare or correctional settings
  • One year of relevant experience in patient care is required
  • Completion of online training modules prior to assignment, with documentation provided to the facility nurse manager
