Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to patients according to established protocols and physician orders Assist with patient assessments and monitor for adverse reactions Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and patient responses Provide basic patient care and support clinical staff as needed Ensure medication storage and handling adhere to safety and regulatory standards Required Skills Active certification as a Medication Aide or Certified Medication Aide Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication abilities for interacting with patients and healthcare team members Basic understanding of patient care procedures Additional Skills & Requirements Current licensure or certification as a medication aide in the region Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care environment is preferred Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare training or certifications are a plus Enhance your healthcare career by applying your medication aide skills in a supportive clinical environment.
