WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A SWING MEDICATION AIDE
We are looking for a Swing shift Medication Aide who is dependable, respectful, friendly, and compassionate to assist our residents with their medication and care needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SWING MEDICATION AIDE
Medication Aide are responsible for the health and safety of the residents. This includes tracking, ordering, and dispensing medications accurately to 30-40 residents. Other responsibilities include conducting and recording blood sugar tests, administering insulin injections, and obtaining resident vitals. Medication Aides also assist in communication with family members and doctors, and scheduling doctors appointments. Other tasks include assisting in caregiving as needed or directed.
SHIFTS FOR SWING MEDICATION AIDE
Tuesday through Saturday 2:00pm to 10:00pm

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekend shifts. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, aid in resident transfers, walk/stand 80% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.' '
