Visual Merchandising Associate (Part-Time) Who We Are For more than 12 years, City Home has created a unique marketplace shopping experience across six retail locations. Our stores are filled with an ever-changing collection of inspiring furniture, décor, lighting, and home furnishings for home decorators, interior designers, and business owners. What You'll Do Working under the direction of the Visual Display Director , you'll be part of a creative, hands-on team responsible for keeping our showroom beautiful, organized, well-stocked, and ready for customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Support the Visual Display Director with the setup, styling, and ongoing maintenance of showroom displays. Keep displays clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing. Maintain an organized stockroom and help ensure merchandise moves efficiently from receiving to the sales floor. Assist with unloading and processing merchandise from transfer trucks. Price, tag, and prepare incoming merchandise for the sales floor. Move, arrange, and merchandise furniture, décor, lighting, and accessories throughout the showroom. Maintain lighting displays throughout the store, including replacing bulbs and making minor display adjustments as needed. Assist customers with product questions, merchandise location, and purchases while providing exceptional customer service. Create and process inventory transfers and maintain working knowledge of the computer systems and programs relevant to the position. Work safely, respectfully, and efficiently with the Visual Display, Sales, and Warehouse teams. Assist with other merchandising and showroom needs as they arise. What We're Looking For Must have previous furniture visual merchandising or retail merchandising experience Furniture, home furnishings, or interior design experience is preferred. Strong creative instincts with excellent attention to detail and aesthetics. Skilled in furniture, home décor, and interior design. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable learning and using inventory and retail computer systems. Organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A positive, customer-focused attitude. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. Team members must be able to: Move and/or lift merchandise weighing up to 65 pounds . Regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the showroom and stockroom. Safely use and work from ladders up to 6 feet . Safely move and handle furniture, lighting, décor, and other merchandise. Why City Home?
