Job Description
We are looking for a Medication Tech to join our team at Harmony Living As the Medication Technician you will be responsible for the daily functioning of the health care needs of the residents.
- Administers medications and treatments.
- Measures vital signs and weight.
- Adheres to all medication room systems per policy.
- Communicates with physicians, via fax, visit form, and telephone.
- Implements physician orders.
- Documents pertinent information in resident charts and elsewhere per policy. (e.g., incident reports).
- Communicates with RN according to specified criteria.
- Adheres to emergency protocols, including performing CPR and administering first aid as necessary.
- Assists in development and revision of service plans by informing RN of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches.
- Performs other duties as directed by RN.
