6am-6pm 42 hours per week About the Position Kinsington Oak Grove Memory Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dayshift MedTech to join our team. The MedTech is responsible for safe and accurate medication administration while also providing hands-on support to our residents. This position requires someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to provide calm, person-centered care to residents living with dementia. The MedTech works closely with the Resident Care Manager, nurses, caregivers, residents, families, and other members of the care team to ensure residents receive safe and consistent care. Responsibilities Administer medications according to physician/provider orders and facility procedures. Complete medication passes accurately and on time. Accurately document medication administration, refusals, errors, and changes in condition. Follow resident service plans, care instructions, alarms, and safety precautions. Provide hands-on resident care and assistance with activities of daily living as needed. Assist residents with toileting, hygiene, dressing, grooming, meals, hydration, and mobility. Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, appetite, mobility, skin condition, or other concerns. Complete required safety checks, rounds, documentation, and shift duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication area. Communicate effectively with the care team and provide accurate shift-to-shift report. Respond appropriately to dementia-related behaviors using calm, person-centered approaches. Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Follow facility policies, procedures, care plans, physician/provider orders, and direction from management. Report accidents, injuries, medication errors, unsafe conditions, and other concerns promptly. Complete all assigned duties before the end of the shift and provide a thorough handoff to the next shift. What We Are Looking For Current Oregon-required medication certification/authorization applicable to the position. Previous MedTech, medication administration, caregiving, or memory-care experience preferred. Experience working with individuals with dementia preferred. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Ability to follow written instructions, care plans, medication orders, and facility procedures. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care. What We Expect This is an important position in our memory-care community. The MedTech must be dependable, arrive on time, remain focused on resident care, and complete assigned responsibilities throughout the shift. Employees are expected to follow company policies, safety procedures, management direction, resident service plans, and medication orders. Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.0 per week
