QUALIFICATIONS/Skills:
  • A current CMA certification in the state of OR is a must.
  • Previous experience and basic competencies working with the elderly in a long term care setting.
  • You manage time like a professional.
JOB DUTIES
  • Provide direct care to residents with utmost respect and dignity.
  • Daily medication administration, charting, & prompt responses to call lights.
  • Recognize and meet residents' needs while simultaneously encouraging independence.
  • Uphold a safe home-like setting. This includes answering questions with family members regarding their loved one's medications, health, and wellbeing. This works best when professionalism and warmth intersect.
  • Input medication orders as well as assist in daily upkeep of communal/private space
  • Positively represent our community when working alongside residents, staff, and visitors.
