Job Description

Makes a positive contribution to the lives of our residents in Memory Care by providing them with routine daily care in accordance with the established policies and procedure of the community under the direct supervision of the Personal Care Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or designated lead staff on duty. Promotes hospitality and delivers a high level of customer service at all times in keeping with the Christ's Home Mission and Core Values.

Pool (PRN)
Required Attributes:
18 years of age or older. High school diploma, GED diploma, or active registry status on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry. If not actively registered as a PA CNA, must be able to complete and pass the Department of Human Services Direct Care Staff Person Training Course. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must successfully complete the BHSL Medications Administration course and demonstrate proficiency in administration responsibilities. Minimum of 1-2 year(s) of experience in personal or long-term care facility is preferred, but not required. Must be physically and mentally able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to: Standing for up to 7 hours of 8 hours shifts. Push, pull, tug, twist, bend, stoop, and sit, on a regular basis. Lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
