Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Tree Service Laborer Pay:

Responsibilities Assist climbers during tree removals and pruning operations. Run ropes and assist with rigging to safely lower tree sections. Operate chainsaws, pole saws, and other tree care equipment. Operate mini skid steers, full-size skid steers, and stump grinder Feed brush into the chipper and assist with loading logs. Know how to efficiently Rake, blow, and clean job sites, leaving customer properties in excellent condition. Organize brush and log piles for efficient loading. Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform general equipment maintenance and keep tools clean and organized. Qualifications Tree service, landscaping, or construction experience is preferred but not required. Positive attitude and strong work ethic required Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
