The Personal Care Medication Aide/Caregiver is responsible for distributing medications and treatments to our residents. This position also performs the general duties and responsibilities of the household caregiver. The medication aide provides medical and physical care to the residents of the household to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level.
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older unless active on the Nurse Aide registry (in state position is located) High school diploma/equivalent required unless active on the Nurse Aide registry Must be able to successfully complete required medication training Must posses the ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong communication skills Previous experience working with older adults preferred Excellent customer service Positive Attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Capable of working as part of a team
