We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Medication Tech to join our team and help us continue to provide the highest level of care. What You'll Do As a Medication Tech at Freedom Senior Living, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Safely administering medications to residents in accordance with state regulations. Monitoring residents for adverse reactions and promptly reporting any concerns. Maintaining accurate and thorough electronic documentation of medication administration. Assisting with daily living activities and providing support to residents in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care settings. Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure a positive and caring environment. What We're Looking For We're seeking a dedicated and qualified individual who meets the following requirements:
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care is preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Certification:
Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician certification as required by the State of Tennessee.
Additional Skills:
CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Ability to safely administer medications and recognize adverse reactions. Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Basic computer skills for electronic documentation.
