Assist with activities of daily living and other personal care tasks Support residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and memory care needs through compassionate caregiving and engagement Ensure compliance with all safety standards related to medication storage, handling, and disposal Document all medication activities thoroughly in medical records while respecting patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines Qualifications Valid certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) or similar credential recognized in your state Prior experience working in skilled nursing homes Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and nursing practices related to medication administration Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care for accurate documentation Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments like dementia or Alzheimer's disease is highly desirable Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as acute care or hospice environments Willingness to work as a team to ensure residents are cared for.
