Duties Safely administer prescribed medications following all HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding—especially in memory care or dementia care settings Provide specialized support for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative care Maintain accurate medical records and document medication administration, patient responses, and any changes in condition using Electronic Health System Perform catheter care, tube feeding assistance, and other specialized medical tasks under the supervision of nursing staff Support team members by adhering to safety protocols related to anatomy knowledge, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure high-quality patient care Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments preferred Familiarity with medical documentation procedures and EMR/EHR systems is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration techniques and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or disabilities enhances your ability to provide compassionate support Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management ensures confidentiality and compliance Previous roles involving hospice or memory care demonstrate your ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism Strong communication skills combined with a background in nursing or medical office experience will help you succeed in this dynamic role Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional senior care through dedicated service and expert knowledge.
