Job Description

The Med Techis responsible formaintainingsafe and secure delivery of medications and health related items to the residents within the community.

The Med Techassistsin developing,coordinating,and performing tasks on the service plan according to the residents preferences and abilities.

The MedTech serves as a supervisor andmonitorsthe Resident Assistants on the same shift.

The Med Tech acts as the designated person in charge in the absence of the Administrator and other Department Heads when they are the Senior Med Tech on duty in the community.

Some states require Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to hold a CNA or related certification. In these states, Med Techs mustmaintaincurrent credentials, remain in good standing, andcomply withall applicable state licensing and regulatory requirements.

Additionalor expanded duties may be assigned based on credential status.
