Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support high‑quality resident care by accurately administering medications, assisting with assessments, and maintaining compliant documentation. This role requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, adherence to established protocols, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Duties Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures as directed by licensed healthcare professionals. Document medication administration and patient information with accuracy and regulatory compliance. Operate and maintain medical equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Provide professional and compassionate assistance to residents, addressing questions and concerns promptly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal care outcomes. Maintain current knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medication Aide or in a related healthcare role preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and healthcare staff. Ability to remain composed and compassionate in high‑pressure situations. CPR/AED certification required or must be obtained within 15 days of hire. Active Virginia Registered Medication Aide Certification required.
