Extra Perks Free access to fully equipped workout facility Free continuing education opportunities Free CPR recertification Free Flu, COVID, and Hepatitis B vaccinations Free parking Annual summer picnic and employee recognition events Year-round employee appreciation activities Employee emergency financial assistance fundraising events Position Responsibilities As a Medication Technician, you will: Administer medications according to physician orders, care plans, and facility policies Assist with medication administration and documentation during assigned shifts Administer PRN (as-needed) medications and complete required follow-up documentation Follow medication delegation guidelines provided by the Nurse Delegator Monitor residents and promptly report concerns or changes in condition to nursing staff Provide direct resident care as assigned Accurately document medications, treatments, incidents, and resident concerns Review and follow resident care plans daily Identify safety hazards and respond appropriately to emergency situations Protect and uphold residents' rights while providing care Participate in required education and training programs Maintain accountability for equipment and supplies Report suspected abuse or neglect according to state regulations and facility policy Receive and process medications in PCC as needed Perform nursing assistant duties as outlined in resident care plans Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications The ideal candidate will: Have Medication Technician certification or meet state requirements for medication administration Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and reliability Possess strong documentation and communication skills Be committed to providing exceptional care and service to seniors Work effectively both independently and as part of a team Start a Rewarding Career with Sunshine Health Facilities Join us as we prepare to open our doors and help create a warm, welcoming community where residents feel at home and team members can build meaningful careers. Education/Experience:
to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: High School Diploma or a
General Education Degree Certificates/Licenses:
Valid Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification or Home Care Aide license. Valid CPR card (can obtain on hire) Medication and diabetes nurse delegation certification.
