This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse resident population, including those requiring memory care, hospice support, and assistance with daily living activities. You will play a vital part in enhancing residents' quality of life by delivering compassionate, personalized care while adhering to all healthcare regulations and maintaining the highest standards of safety and confidentiality. Duties Deliver comprehensive personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and hygiene management Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and other medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Assist with specialized care needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, and dementia or Alzheimer's care with patience and professionalism Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy at all times Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity in a safe environment Conduct assessments of residents' physiological status, including vital signs and overall health observations, following state healthcare regulations Respond promptly to emergency situations by applying first aid or CPR skills, utilizing manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting or transfers Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans in compliance with nursing home standards and senior living facility protocols Experience Prior assisted living or senior care experience is highly preferred, especially within nursing homes or hospice settings Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures including CPR and first aid certification Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Experience working within state Board of Nursing guidelines and understanding state healthcare regulations governing patient care Proven ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and manual handling safely while maintaining resident safety and comfort Strong communication skills for caregiver interaction, resident engagement, and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment Join us at The Ridge at where your compassionate care makes a meaningful difference!
