In this vital role, you will provide essential medication administration and resident support during overnight hours in a caring, respectful environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure residents receive safe, timely care, fostering comfort and well-being throughout the night. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. Duties Administer medications accurately and safely according to prescribed schedules, following all protocols and documentation procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems Monitor residents' vital signs and overall health status during your shift, reporting any concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility assistance with Hoyer lifts, and toileting support Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Support residents with assisted living needs by preparing meals, helping with feeding if necessary, and maintaining a clean, safe environment Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents during the night shift, coordinating with emergency responders when needed Requirements Knowledge of medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is advantageous Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in Alzheimer's or dementia care are a plus Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and accurately document resident information Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents' families Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to resident outings or errands (if applicable) Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care during overnight hours Join our team as a Noc Med Passer / Caregiver and be part of a supportive environment where your dedication directly enhances the quality of life for our residents.
