Qualifications At least a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social work, Counseling or a related area is required . Experience At least 2 years of experience implementing behavior plans is required . Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly desirable. Experience in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding medical terminology is a plus. Familiarity with working within a residential care home (or group home) setting is advantageous. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Management Assistant (BMA) to support adults with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Rialto area. This role involves working closely with clients and staff to implement behavioral interventions, assist with assessments, and support their overall well-being within a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in behavioral health, special education, and experience working with individuals with IDD. Duties Consult with residential facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities Prepare behavior reports and intervention plans Document regular service provision Attend individuals' meetings/reviews Assist in the implementation of behavioral therapy plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Work directly with facility staff to train and educate on the behavior plans and proper implementation of strategies to support the individuals in their daily living skills and decrease inappropriate behaviors
