Join HHSA's Executive Team and Lead the Future of Integrated Behavioral Healthcare The Assistant Deputy Director Behavioral Health will have primary responsibility for the overall management, administration, supervision, and coordination of the programs within the Behavioral Health Division of the Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA). Program scope includes a wide range of county-operated programs, including the continuum of care under the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) and Specialty Mental Health Plan, and services provided by a network of contracted providers under a managed care plan. This position is responsible for the management of behavioral health programs which includes multiple units and programs of significant depth and complexity. Responsibilities include overall management and administration of services, with a particular focus Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) services, Children's Behavioral Health Services, Access, and the Medication Clinic. Duties will include the development of objectives and design and implementation of supporting programs, processes, policies, and/or procedures to successfully achieve those objectives. Experience:

Six (6) years of increasingly responsible professional program experience in a mental health, social service, or human services program including four years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.

Education:

A Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public health, human services, social work, clinical or counseling psychology, public administration or a related field is required.

License or Certificate:

Possession of a valid California driver's license. Possession of a valid license by the State of California Board of Behavioral Science or Board of Psychology as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),?Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Psychologist is desirable. •Any license, certification, or registration required for this position shall be maintained (i.e., active and in good standing) at all times during employment with Napa County.?
