Resident Advisor Chelsea Manor Recovery Orange, CA Job Details Part-time $18 - $22 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification High school diploma or GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Driving Full Job Description Position Summary The Resident Advisor is responsible for supervising clients, providing transportation, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, and supporting clients throughout their recovery journey. This role works closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to program policies and procedures. This position is a swing shift role and requires weekend availability. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor clients while enforcing program rules and guidelines. Provide compassionate support and encouragement to clients in treatment. Transport clients to appointments, recovery meetings, and recreational activities. Monitor and document client behavior and incidents in the electronic medical record (EMR). Conduct drug testing, including observed collections and documentation of results. Observe, document, log, and assist with self-administration of client medications in accordance with policy. Immediately report and document critical incidents, behavioral concerns, and medication errors. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, safety drills, infection control practices, and Joint Commission standards. Conduct routine safety drills and participate in staff trainings. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility in accordance with infection control policies. Report facility, vehicle, and maintenance concerns to administration. Foster positive relationships with clients, staff, and community partners. Refer clients to clinical staff for psychological or emotional concerns. Perform additional duties as assigned by administration. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Availability to work swing shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Experience working in behavioral health, recovery, or residential settings preferred. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a culturally sensitive manner. Strong communication and documentation skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (if driving clients). Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain. Current TB clearance will be required. RADT (Registered Alcohol/Drug Technician or Trainee) certification through CCAPP or another state-approved agency preferred, or willingness to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
