This is a part-time position ideal for someone interested in ABA, psychology, child development, education, or behavioral health. The BI will work directly with the client under the supervision of a BCBA and clinical team to support communication, social skills, emotional regulation, independence, and reduction of challenging behaviors. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Interventionist (BI) - Part-Time to join our dynamic team committed to empowering individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges. In this role, you will implement individualized behavior plans, support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, and promote positive behavioral health outcomes. Duties Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' developmental and behavioral goals Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with supervisors and families Collect and analyze data on client behaviors, progress, and treatment effectiveness to inform ongoing interventions Support clients during therapy sessions, providing guidance on social skills, communication, and daily living activities Maintain accurate medical documentation, electronic health records (EHR), and client progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with crisis management and de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety during challenging situations Administer medication as prescribed following proper protocols and document medication administration accurately Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to update on client progress and address concerns Requirements Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or behavioral health needs Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders support strategies, behavior management techniques, and crisis intervention methods Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, first aid/CPR certification, and patient care procedures Ability to work effectively with youth in various settings while demonstrating patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or addiction counseling is a plus Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) management systems while maintaining strict confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Strong understanding of medical records documentation standards and data collection methods for behavioral health services Ability to handle stressful situations calmly using de-escalation techniques; experience in crisis management preferred Flexibility to work part-time hours that may include evenings or weekends as needed Schedule Part-time Weekday after-school and/or weekend availability preferred Exact schedule will be discussed based on client and staff availability What We Offer BCBA supervision and ongoing clinical support RBT training and certification support Paid training Opportunities for professional growth Supportive clinical team Experience working directly in the ABA field Join us in making a positive impact by supporting individuals on their journey toward greater independence and well-being.
