Dedicated paraprofessionals are needed for the full academic year to support classrooms and deliver vital assistance to students and educators. Multiple positions are available, each tailored to the experience and expertise of successful candidates. Openings range from 29.75 to 30 hours per week, ensuring a consistent schedule while offering meaningful professional engagement throughout the school year. Placement will be considered based on your background and the school's specific needs, giving you a chance to maximize your impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree (required) Prior experience working in a school setting or familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Strong communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and commitment to student success Willingness to work closely with teachers, staff, and students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Support instructional activities in and out of the classroom under the direction of certified staff Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed Assist students with academic tasks, engagement, and socialization Model appropriate behavior and support students in developing life skills Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school professionals to foster an inclusive environment Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures Take pride in making a difference each day while gaining valuable experience in a school community.
