Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic person to join our team as a Residential Associate, providing exceptional support and care within our residential community. This vital role involves fostering a safe, nurturing environment for residents, helping to manage daily activities, and ensuring their well-being through compassionate interaction and effective oversight. The Residential Associate will play a key role working closely with the operational and clinical teams, promoting positive behavioral health, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting residents' individual needs to enhance their quality of life. Duties Supervise and monitor residents' daily activities to ensure safety and engagement Conduct intake processes, including luggage searches, assessments for new residents, gathering essential information to support personalized care plans Observe medications accurately, following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration details Facilitating Recovery Support groups as necessary Support case management efforts by collecting data, maintaining records, and assisting with filing confidential documentation Monitor and record urine drug screen protocols Valid driver's license required in order to transport clients when necessary Implement security protocols to maintain a safe environment, including monitoring access points and conducting regular safety checks Provide crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating any potential conflicts and managing behavioral challenges with sensitivity Engage in communication with residents and team members to collaborate on care plans and address needs and goals effectively Experience Experience in residential or community settings is highly preferred Strong background in crisis intervention, conflict management, and behavioral health support Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques is beneficial as is previous experience facilitating recovery support groups Familiarity with data entry, filing systems, and data collection methods to maintain accurate records Certification in first aid and medication administration is required and will be provided Schedule Full-time - Monday through Friday, 1p.m. to 9p.m.
Pay:
$19.23 - $21.63 per hourBenefits:
