This full-time, contract opportunity centers on providing dedicated support as a Behavior Paraprofessional, working directly with a small group of 7 students. Collaborate daily with classroom teachers and specialists to create a nurturing space where each student can succeed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting, particularly with behavioral or affective needs, is highly valued Ability to build trusting relationships with students while maintaining clear and consistent expectations Familiarity with implementing behavioral intervention strategies and data collection Patient, compassionate, and adaptable when addressing emotional and behavioral challenges High school diploma or GED required; additional related training or certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small-group support for 7 students, ensuring their emotional and behavioral needs are met Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Model de-escalation techniques and positive behavior interventions Support teachers in adapting classroom activities and environment to each students needs Foster a safe, encouraging, and structured atmosphere that promotes growth and independence Collaborate with the broader educational team, including teachers, therapists, and administrators Enjoy the opportunity to work consistent, full-time hours while truly making a difference for students who benefit from caring, patient support.
