M-F40hrs/week 1st Shift (Driving and Travel required) Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: This position is with the Encampment team in Sussex County. Outreach is split into 80% in the field; and 20% in the office. Providing outreach services to people living within the community who are in unhoused living situations (living in encampments, tent cities, under bridges, in the woods, etc.). Provide immediate support and guidance to individuals entering recovery and mental health treatment. Talking with individuals about seeking treatment or other services. Build rapport with those who are unhoused and with substance use and/or mental health disorders. Provide direct and indirect peer support services and emotional support to the client and/or families as indicated. Assist with transportation of clients and referrals to treatment. May provide on the spot assistance of Narcan and/or CPR.
