Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Behavioral Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will work closely with individuals who have developmental disabilities, autism, and other behavioral health needs. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive environment where clients can thrive. You'll implement behavior management strategies, assist with daily activities, and support medical and behavioral interventions to promote progress and safety. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily routines, including personal care and skill development activities Implement behavior management plans using applied behavior analysis techniques Support crisis intervention efforts to ensure safety during challenging situations Collect and document behavioral data accurately for progress tracking Administer medications following medical records protocols and HIPAA regulations Assist clients with ADLs including personal hygiene i.e., bathing, toileting, brushing teeth, grooming, dressing etc. Collaborate with team members on intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports Requirements HS Diploma or GED Must secure certifications in: Emergency Response CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, Professional Crisis Management, Medication Administration Must have a good driver rating. Candidate will transport consumers Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA standards Excellent communication skills for effective social work and patient care interactions Capable of data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
