This role involves implementing evidence-based interventions to support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering positive behavioral change while ensuring the safety and well-being of the client. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults by applying applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques in a home-based setting. Duties Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and nutrition support Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to the client's individual care plan, ensuring consistency and fidelity Support clients with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders through direct behavioral therapy and behavior management strategies Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members about progress and challenges Maintain detailed medical documentation, behavioral health records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Support the development and execution of individualized care plans aligned with professional ethical standards for behavior analysts Requirements Experience working with children or young adults with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, and client communication Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and home-based behavioral intervention settings Ability to work independently within a structured environment while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards Prior experience in school or home-based settings supporting individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral health practices and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts This position is a paid opportunity designed for motivated individuals eager to contribute positively to clients' lives through evidence-based practices.
