Weekend Mental Health Support Position Prism Psychology is seeking a reliable, compassionate individual to provide weekend support to a client with mental health needs in the Coeur d'Alene area. This position is a good fit for someone who has experience working in mental health, behavioral health, social services, psychology, education, or a related helping profession and is interested in providing practical, relationship-based support in the community. What the role involves The position focuses on helping the client maintain stability, structure, and engagement over the weekend.

Responsibilities may include:

Spending time with the client and providing supportive companionship Helping with planning and maintaining a healthy weekend routine Supporting participation in recreational and community activities Encouraging development and use of coping and independent-living skills Providing appropriate emotional and behavioral support Communicating with the treatment/support team as needed This is not a psychotherapy position . The emphasis is on consistent, positive, real-world support and helping the client successfully navigate day-to-day activities. Ideal candidate We are especially interested in applicants who have: Experience working with individuals with mental health or behavioral challenges Education or training in psychology, social work, counseling, human services, education, behavioral health, or a related field Good judgment, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills The ability to develop a supportive relationship while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries Comfort working independently in community-based settings Current students or recent graduates in a behavioral-health or human-services field may also be a good fit if they have relevant experience and maturity. Schedule This is a part-time weekend position , with scheduling arranged around the client's needs and the successful candidate's availability. Compensation Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
