Position Purpose:
Directly supervise clients in assigned program. Participate as a team member in the delivery of treatment services to clients and their families, and to facilitate the issues of recovery into daily living situations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.Schedule:
Hours- 3:00pm
- 11:30pm Days
- Sunday
Thursday Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Must qualify as an MHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule Skilled in behavioral management techniques Excellent written and oral communication skills, Ability to quickly establish rapport, Computer proficiency required, Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record, Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames Valid driver's license and ability to meet Agency insurance Belief in the mission and vision ofRosecrance Essential Responsibilities:
Work hours prescribed and any additional hours-deemed necessary for the responsibilities Overtime may be required. Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences for mental health and detoxing clients. Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills. Provide education and support to clients specific to symptoms management and coping skills. Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift. May facilitate focal group discussion sessions on co-occurring issues. Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated. Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations. Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies. Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities. Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional code of conduct and within the framework of the law. Facilitate transportation of clients to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency. Assume other related responsibilities as delegated by management.Job Type :
