The ROCKS Research Team is seeking a motivated Research Associate I to support recruitment and administrative tasks for a behavioral research study. The Research Associate I will work under the supervision of Dr. Li-Ting Longcoy and will work as part of a team.

Damen Ave Chicago, IL 60612 Position Summary This position conducts research by preparing literature reviews and assisting with the collection, entering, coding and cleaning of data and descriptive results. Duties & Responsibilities Perform surveys, interviews, observations or uses other methods according to established research protocols. Prepare data for analysis and execute details of studies. Perform analysis and document results. May conduct literature searches. Order study supplies and maintain inventories. Maintain detailed records of results and prepare written reports. Maintain and process required paperwork. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES
Recruit study participants in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings and provide weekly progress reports on recruitment and study activities. Administer research surveys and assist with study data collection, entry, and management. Contact study participants to schedule and conduct intervention sessions, deliver the study intervention according to the established protocol, and maintain timely and professional communication with participants throughout the study period. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social science or related field required. Knowledge of fundamental research concepts, practices and procedures. Entry level knowledge of research methods. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication. Follow research protocols, ensure protocol compliance, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Have experience using electronic data collection and management platforms, such as REDCap or Qualtrics. Have experience using Epic or a similar electronic health record (EHR) system. Work independently while maintaining accuracy and high-quality work.
