As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to promote skill development, improve behavior, and support independence in home-based and clinical settings. Duties Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and feeding, to foster independence and improve functional skills. Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring fidelity to treatment plans. Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques tailored to each child's needs. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Conduct behavior management strategies to reduce problematic behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors effectively. Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers about progress, challenges, and strategies for generalization of skills across environments. Qualifications Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities, is highly preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education principles. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior therapy protocols in a compassionate and professional manner. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement. Demonstrated understanding of ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
