Job Description

Massachusetts TC Clinical Group is seeking dependable and compassionate Recovery Specialists (RS) to support clients in a structured substance use treatment setting. RS staff play a critical role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for residents across all shifts. Responsibilities include medication observation, hourly rounds, group facilitation/support, accurate documentation, and assisting clients with daily routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hourly rounds and maintain safety throughout the facility Log and reconcile medications during assigned observation times Alert residents of medication and group times Monitor and assist residents during meals and appointments Enter progress notes and shift reports into
KIPU EHR
system Facilitate or support recovery-based group activities Stock and organize kitchen and program supplies Assist with new client intakes and orientation Maintain cleanliness and conduct environmental rounds Update census and appointment board in RS office Communicate effectively with clinical and medical staff Support resident compliance with program rules and structure Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Maintain facility safety and monitor client needs overnight Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces) Complete laundry (weekend overnights only) Brew morning coffee and assist in preparing for morning shift Ensure residents remain in their rooms and maintain quiet hours
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in recovery, behavioral health, or human services preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized under pressure Comfortable with shift-based work, including nights and weekends Familiarity with KIPU or similar EHR system a plus Why Join Us?
