Onsite - Lancaster, MA About the Opportunity Residential setting seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Services Assistant to support the Health Services Department. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating healthcare services for residents, maintaining medical records, and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers, nursing staff, and residential programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant or Health Services professional with MAP certification who enjoys administrative coordination, healthcare operations, and working in a collaborative residential care environment. Key Responsibilities Medical Appointment Coordination Schedule and coordinate medical, dental, vision, and specialty healthcare appointments for residents. Arrange transportation and accompany residents to appointments as needed. Communicate appointment details and updates to nursing and residential staff. Obtain provider recommendations, follow-up instructions, and medical documentation after appointments. Ensure timely completion of all necessary healthcare follow-up activities. Medical Documentation & Records Management Maintain, upload, and organize medical records within the electronic health record system (eHana). Ensure all healthcare documentation is complete, accurate, and entered in a timely manner. Assist with data entry, reporting, tracking, and record maintenance. Support Health Services staff with administrative and clerical duties related to resident care. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents in a residential setting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage appointments, transport residents, and maintain accurate records. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Medication Administration Certification or MAP Certification. Preferred Associate Degree.
