Woodland Centers has a unique position that could be the perfect fit! This temporary position works all hours on the weekend. Employees have found this to be a perfect position for a student, stay at home parent, or anyone who has a need to work their hours on weekends only. Training is provided. This position provides an opportunity to grow in the mental health field and make a difference for children, teenagers and adults in the community. This temporary awake position works two 16 hour shifts every weekend (Friday 3:00 pm to Saturday 7:00 am and Saturday 3:00 pm to Sunday 7:00 am) This position qualifies for shift differential ($2.50/hour and $3.50/hour).
Job Duties:
Assist youth and adults needing crisis mental health services in a short term residential unit. Teach mental health skills to clients in an individual and group setting. Complete mental health assessment, intervention, and stabilization services. Provide a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years old or older and have the ability to pass a background check. Must meet the requirements of a Behavioral Health Practitioner as defined by DHS or have some experience or education in the human services field. Ability to work in a team and provide excellent client care. Ability to use an electronic health record. Our Mission We support people of all ages in finding hope and recovery.
