Make a Difference. Support Neurodiverse Students. Join a Purpose-Driven Team. Black Mountain Academy is hiring for Overnight Awake Residential Coaches to join our dedicated team. This is a meaningful opportunity to support high school students—primarily assigned male at birth—who are neurodiverse and learning to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. As a third-shift coach, you'll help ensure a safe, structured overnight environment while also assisting with morning routines and light household duties.

What You'll Do:

Stay awake and attentive to student needs during overnight hours Conduct regular night checks to ensure safety Support students with morning routines and daily transitions Prepare light meals and complete general cleaning tasks Collaborate with staff to help students achieve therapeutic and educational goals

What We're Looking For:

Compassionate, dependable, and student-centered individuals Calm under pressure and able to handle overnight responsibilities independently Open to feedback and willing to learn therapeutic strategies Previous experience in mental health or behavioral support is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Must be able to stay awake and alert during overnight hours
